Brooksie Byrdean is an approximately 6 year old, 10 pound chi mix with an amazing personality. We were asked to take in this sweet girl because of her great personality knowing that she has a slight neuro condition that makes her a bit wobbly on her legs. They only thing she requires help with is stairs. We were happy to help this sweet and precious girl! Brooksie is a very loving and affectionate dog with her humans. It can take her a second with certain men, but she warms up quickly with them as well. Our vet clinic reports that she is easy for her exams and she rides well in the car. Brooksie takes a second to trust other dogs, but once she does, she loves to play!!! We don't think she would love being around puppy energy, because it might be intimidating with her wobbly legs, but she really does enjoy playing with well mannered dogs once she knows she can trust them. This girl loves and lives life to the fullest. She is housebroken and has amazing house manners. Brooksie loves to be outside where she can easily use the traction of the grass to get around so we would love her to have a yard where she can soak up the sun and enjoy her outside time.

Brooksie is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
