Meet BROOKLYN
Meet Brooklyn... an adorable, 8-year-old, 8-lb. deer-head Chihuahua who is patiently awaiting her forever home.
Brooklyn is the sweetest and the most loving dog in her foster home... but only to her foster parents. She is timid around strangers, and is aggressive if a stranger enters her home. Brooklyn loves snuggling with her favorite humans on the couch or in a comfy chair. She also enjoys being carried around like a baby and getting belly-rubs.
Brooklyn is well housetrained and is crate trained... in fact, she seems to enjoy the safety of her crate. She also enjoys going for walks on a leash and going for rides in the car.
Brooklyn gets along with the other small dogs in her foster home, although she does show jealousy, so we feel that she'd be happiest as an 'only dog'. As an 'only dog', she wouldn't have to share her attention... or laps! We feel that a quiet, adult-only home would be best for this tiny girl.
Brooklyn is in good health and is spayed, microchipped, current on her Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on heartworm and flea prevention.
Brooklyn's adoption fee is $225.00
Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!

Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, but we never “ship” or “transport” our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
