Brooke English Shepherd Cedar Rapids, IA

This beautiful girl is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. Brooke is a 7 year old English Shepherd and weighs about 55 pounds. She LOVES to play ball and she's really good at it! She even flips it up to you sometimes. We suspect she would play ball all day if you didn't make her take a break. Brooke is also great on a leash. She walks alongside you so nicely. Brooke needs to be the only pet in the home. She seems to get jealous of other pets and isn't nice to them.

Because of her active breed, we think a home with small children might not be the best fit. She is a herder and sometimes nips at heals. We will be looking for an active home with a fully fenced (physical fence) yard with direct access from the home so she can play ball safely. She is likely to be protective of her people as is the case with this type of breed. Brooke also loves a good butt scratch or two!
