Brody came to us from an animal control facility.

ABOUT:
Brody is a sweet, calm, companion dog. His foster home says he is very quiet and only makes a sound (whimper or single bark) if he needs to go outside or if he thinks it’s dinner time. Although he is very good on leash his walks will need to be limited to 5-10 minute potty strolls as he has arthritis in his hind end. Brody has been good meeting strangers on walks, but he tends to be a little timid with new people. He has been good with the children he has met on walks, but is not currently being fostered with children. Because of his arthritis, we will recommend that he only reside in homes with older more mature children. We do not anticipate children visitors to be a problem. Brody is generally a low energy guy, but every once in a while he will get a minute or two of the zoomies and will run around the house. Brody is always ready for a nap and would love to curl up next to someone while they watch TV or work on a project. Brody was not housetrained when he arrived at his foster home, but he has been doing really well. He always empties his bladder completely instead of marking. Brody will do best where someone is home most of the day to take him on frequent potty breaks as he does not appear to be able to hold it very long. Brody loves to lay in the sun and even likes to go swimming! Brody met a cat on a trip to a relative’s home and he didn’t show any interest, so we assume that he will be cat friendly with a proper introduction. Brody is an easy going guy who has few demands in life who can’t wait to be someone’s forever companion.
