The Milo Foundation AnimalID is 25930 and the Current Location is in Foster Care. Please see our website www.milofoundation.org for the current status of this animal. Brody bonds with his favorite person and gets along with the others in their life. He loves to have someone play with him and his toys, tugging, throwing, and chasing him. He likes to go out on walks. He does not like it when his halter is initially put on in the house. Special ?Spot Farm? treats have changed him to not mind getting the halter put on, but he skulks in it inside the house. Once outside walking, he doesn?t mind it at all. He walks every day with a neighbor Chihuahua. Brody is happy when his family members come home and greets them with a wagging tail, some barking and dancing. He will ?sing? when you have him on your lap and howl like a coyote. He is crate trained and doesn?t need to get up early to be let out in the morning. He will adjust to your sleeping schedule. When he first came to his foster home, he would bite, hold, and tug on your pant leg, I think because he was unsure of the situation. He rarely does this anymore, but if he looks like he is going to start we tell him ?bed? and he will stop and go into his crate. Love him and he will love you right back. Brody is house trained and has lived in a home with a cat. *Foster Notes* 10/27/17 Brody bonded very quickly to me, the person that walks and feeds him. He has to warm up to everyone else very slowly and his introduction must be repeated several times. He likes his crate and goes into it by himself when he is tired. He loves to play tug and will fetch, but not drop the toy yet. So far he only plays with me, the others are still a little scary for him and he gets protective of the toys. He takes treats gently from everyone. He walks well on leash and gets along with other dogs. He wants very much to please so he takes direction well. He will protect his person and his territory, so this needs work. He would be good in a home where everyone is calm and willing to give him time to adjust.
