Brixx Yorkshire Terrier & Dachshund Mix Thompson's Station, TN

Brixx is an 8 year old yorkie dachshund mix weighing about 11lbs. He was adopted as a Snooty puppy and recently found himself needing us once again. He is very friendly and active. He needs his walks and outside time each day, but can nap hard with the best of them!

Brixx is looking for a companion who can spend lots of time with him. He has not been around young children and previously lived in a home with only older adults so we really can't say that he is a fit with young kids. He loves his food, treats and toys, but by far his favorite is time with his humans. He does well on car rides, and is housetrained but will need someone who can be patient with him as he learns to feel secure even when his human can't be with him all day. He is also learning his leash manners.

Brixx is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
