YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.<br/><br/>Briggs is a 2 year 8 month old male, short haired, pure-bred Aussie with papers. <br/><br/>He is so soft, very clean, and a perfect size at 32 pounds.<br/> <br/>He barks a lot if there is someone at the door, and loves people and treats. He is quiet on a barking collar. <br/><br/>He will tolerate a cat over time, but chases chickens and really does better as an only pet. <br/><br/>He loves to lick your hand and will jump up to dance with you. <br/><br/>He knows how to stay, sit, lay down, roll over, and stand on back legs. <br/><br/>Briggs is great on a run or a hike, and will sit and cuddle for a bit, but is mostly active and wants to play with a ball or toys. He will do well in an active household. <br/><br/>He does no destructive behavior while family is away, no chewing or scratching or accidents inside. <br/><br/>Briggs loves having a t-shirt put on him and tied snug when it storms, and is afraid of thunder but tolerates it well once he is crated. <br/><br/>He is crate trained, and loves his crate to be in a bedroom to be near family. <br/><br/>All veterinarian papers, leash, and toys will be provided to the new owner. You must have a fenced yard and experience with dogs. <br/><br/>No children under 12 in his new home please.<br/><br/>We will be happy to arrange a local meet up, within 30 miles of High Point, NC, serious inquiries only.<br/><br/>Adoption donation $250.<br/><br/><br/>Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.<br/><br/>HOW TO APPLY:<br/>1. Go to www.lppnc.org<br/>2. Click on the "Adoption Application" link on the left side of the page.<br/>3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields.<br/>4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to petprojectnc@gmail.com<br/>5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
