About Me:
The Artemis Project was called in to a horrible abandonment situation. A house left with over 20 of us dogs roaming between the filthy yard and feces filled house trying to survive on our own. They stepped in and tested us (I'm HW negative, BTW), vaccinated us, got us all put on preventatives, and committed to finding us loving homes where this kind of thing will never happen to us again. I'm a handsome hound mix with an estimated birthday of 5/20/23 whose full of love and loyalty for my person.
Looking For:
A human who will love me and show me that what I've experienced isn't the 'norm'. I need someone to give me the home I deserve and accept my love and appreciation to them for saving me. Maybe even a kind heart with a cozy couch would be perfection to me. Please give me a chance to love my human with everything I have and become your future soulmate on four legs.
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
