Meet Bridger

Thank you for your interest in adopting. All of our dogs live in Alabama foster homes and transport to New England when they are adopted. If you are approved to adopt one of our dogs, you will speak to the foster family and you can request FaceTime, video or more pictures once your application is approved. This method of long distance adoption works for hundreds of pets every year!

Every cat or dog is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, multiple dewormings, and pet receives parasite prevention. Dogs over six months are heartworm tested, and any dog that has been through treatment is fully disclosed with medical records.

All dogs live in foster homes, in a family environment. Every dog comes with its health records.

Bridger was found stray in rural Alabama. Someone had taken him out in the country and left him on hunting land. The owner of the property found him and took him food every day until we could find him a place to go. All of our shelters and fosters are full. We were so thankful when a Foster stepped up and he was happy to leave there!

Bridger lives in a foster home with a working couple, two other dogs, and cats, although the dogs don’t interact with the cats. He is crate training, learning the leash, and learning what it’s like to be a valued member of a household.

His foster mom would be happy to speak with you about this handsome dog.

Bridger is estimated 12 to 18 months old and about 50 pounds. He was skinny when rescued and is still putting on some weight.

We have been sending Dogs and cats to homes for 15 years. We pay a transporter for every dog we send to a New England home. We do not own the van or service. Every dog sees a veterinarian before they leave for a health check and health certificate, which also comes with a cost.

Total adoption fee and investment for this sweetheart is $585.00. Hasn’t changed in years.

$345 adoption
$175 transport
$65 health certificate

Serious adopters should fill out the application online and someone will get back to you ASAP.

We prefer a vet reference, current or previous, to adopt a puppy.
