Meet Brewski

Do you love spotted dogs? How about getting a puppy that gets more spots on his coat each day?!

Brewski is an active and playful pup! He will happily show off his sticks, balls, leaves, and anything else he can carry around. He will bring it to you several times, although doesn't quite understand why you toss it away from him. He tends to stare at you until you go with him, pick it up, and give it back to him. Then, he is back to proudly showing his prize off!
-You can apply to adopt Brewski using the link below. However, we highly recommend reading his ENTIRE bio to find out more info about him and see if his personality would be a good fit with your family first.

Below you will see what his foster has to say about him.
"Brewski is very active when he's in the play mode. Then he crashes hard to sleep. He doesn't like other dogs to disturb his sleep. Brewski has a big dog attitude and has played well with dogs twice his weight. He doesn't back down while wrestling with the other fosters.
Brewski is not a lap puppy. He's too busy investigating the world around him."

Brewski was taken from his mom at 6 weeks old. The lady who brought him home ended up not being able to properly care for him and was feeding him milk and hot dogs. She posted on social media asking for someone to take him, and a good samaritan answered her, please. She later contacted us, and we welcomed him to our fluffy butt family!

Brewski is a 12 week old male Great Pyrenees mix. We are starting to wonder if he may have some Dalmation in him. Each day, he has more spots that show on what was once a pure white coat(besides his big spots of course). He currently weighs about 20lbs. We are guessing that he will top out around the 60-70lb range.

??To Brewski's Future Family??

?Brewski has been on a few car rides and has done okay. Since he is so young, he hasn't started his leash training yet. His foster usually just carries him when they need to go somewhere. Brewski is a happy and super-loving boy when it comes to meeting new people. He is excited about the attention and playtime they might give him! Since he isn't fully vaccinated yet, he has not been to any public outings. He was friendly with everyone at the vet clinic, though. Brewski does like to greet people by giving hugs.

? Brewski loves to carry around sticks and toys if you give them to him. He will run around all proud of his prize. However, he doesn't chase after anything you throw. He'd rather you go get it and give it to him. Brewski does seem to like playing in the water. We are not sure if he would actually go swimming in a pool or lake, though. Brewski does enjoy playing with his toys.
-Brewski had a bit of a rough start and can be protective over his food. It is best to feed him separate from the other dogs if you can't watch. He does sometimes try to protect his toys from the other dogs as well. This should be something his new family is prepared to deal with, should they have other dogs.

?Brewski is still young so his new family should have the home puppy-proofed. Brewski is working on his potty training. He is not kennel trained. He is baby-gated to the sunroom at night and when his foster family is away.

?Brewski is an energetic pup. If his new family lived by a lot of walking trails and were home a lot we feel he would do fine in an apartment setting.

?Brewski is being fostered around other dogs and cats. He does great with dogs and is very playful! Brewski is good with cats but may try to play with them. Brewski can be quite energetic so, the kids should be older. He may be a bit too energetic for toddlers and accidentally scratch them when he wants to give lovings in the form of hugs.

?? Adopting Brewski ??

Brewski's ideal home would be one with a more active family. Ideally, they would also have another playful dog to help get his energy out. His new family would also be ready to socialize, potty train, and work with him on his manners. Brewski loves to be part of the family and would love to go on adventures with his new family.

Brewski is being fostered in Sand Springs, OK. His new family needs to be able to pick him up(even if they are out of state). No commercial transports and no shipping. Just a fun road trip with him and his new family! ?

His adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. He will also have had a bordetella. He will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
