Brennly Terrier Mix Scranton, PA

Say "hello" to this beautiful senior who will be arriving on transport on Oct. 24th. The name Brennly is a girl's name meaning "burnt meadow". This super sweet terrier mix was surrendered to a high kill, southern shelter after her owner died. Her owner's family said that they were not able to take care of her. She immediately went to a foster home (lucky girl) where she stayed until she was treated for heart-worm disease and recovered. Now she is almost ready to travel to her rescue in PA and begin the "happily-ever-after" part of her life.
Brennly is a senior dog who is 9 yrs young. She weighs about 25 lbs. Her favorite thing is taking socks or stuffed animals when you aren’t looking. She will follow you around the house and lay by your feet or on the sofa most of the time. She likes to be with people and enjoys their company. She is dog, cat, and kid friendly. In fact, she loves kids. She will follow the eight year old boy in her foster home around and wait for him by the door when he goes outside. She is both house-trained and crate trained. She walks well on a lead. She has adjusted well to her foster home and is now eating twice a day.
Little Brennly has already been spayed and micro-chipped. She is current with vaccinations and she has recently been treated for heart-worm disease. She will be well past her restricted activity part of her recovery by the time that she arrives on transport on Oct. 24th.
