Braveheart Pit Bull Terrier Mix Cumming, GA

Braveheart is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, off, and lay down. He sleeps in a crate and is crated when his foster leaves the house. He is a very good eater and also will rinse dishes for you before you put them in the dishwasher. What a helpful gentleman!

Braveheart is about 60 pounds so he is the ultimate weighted blanket. He is a cuddler and would love to lay on you or be in your lap. He loves going for a walk but then coming home to watch Netflix.

His current foster family has 2 other dogs so we know he is wonderful with dogs. His favorite toy is a nyla bone, with or without peanut butter on it. He does not resource guard or have any aggressive tendencies. When on a leash, he listens and can even pass by other dogs barking at him with ease. He does not chew shoes or furniture.

Braveheart has a gentle soul and is in tune with the people, dogs, and squirrels around him. He was saved from a euthanasia list at a county shelter and is on his way to finding YOU, his forever best friend.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
