Meet Branson
Branson came to GSR from Calumet City after being found as a stray. He was in rough condition underweight, with skin and ear infections, along with heartworm. Branson is about 3-4 years old and is looking for a forever home in the Chicagoland area. He is very dog friendly and would love a companion in his new home. We think Branson would do ok with dog savvy cats. He has done well around children used to big dogs. He is housebroken and crate trained. Branson’s adopter should plan to continue his obedience training. He is strong on leash and learning not to pull. Branson loves to play fetch and would enjoy a fenced in yard to romp around in. His foster mom describes him as a bombproof boy despite his rough start to life! Branson is due for his final heartworm injection on 9/2.
