Meet Boy
Meet Boy!
Handsome as they come, this lovebug is wishing for a forever home.
Measurements: 80 pounds at handsome, nice big noggin and a huge heart.
Personality: He is a lover! He loves everyone! If he were hooman he'd probably listen to mellow music while sitting infront of a fire, he's a pretty chill guy. He does like to let loose outside and run the fence with our other doggos in our play yardsfoe a short sprint, but when inside his kennel he'll chill with a bone and peer out of his kennel windows waiting for some company. He is a very loving boy and has a blast on carrides with his best buddy.
Dream job: Stuffy tester.
Backstory: This sweet soul came from Oklahoma after his person went to heaven. Boy knows what it is like to be in a loving home and is hoping to have that again.
Boy thinks other dogs are ok...but prefers people. After being in a rescue for awhile, he thinks it's time to just be the only doggo in a home so he can relax and enjoy human companionship. He was hit by a car years before coming to us, his back leg does still bother him from time to time so rough play with another dog should be avoided. For these reasons he should be the only dog in a home.
Boy does have separation anxiety (its no wonder after losing his person). He would love to be adopted by a person or family who works from home and is a bit of a home body because he does not like to be left alone.
As with all of our doggos, proper introductions will be needed with any resident family members to make sure it's a great fit!
We are not sure what he thinks of cats but we would be happy to cat test him if you have a family cat and have met Boy and know he is the one for you!
