Bowser is a sweet, small, and easy fella!
Bowser's owner recently surrendered him to our southern rescue partner because she is elderly and in poor health. She tried to find him another home with people she knew and knew that would give him a good home, but that group was also elderly and so she turned to rescue. Although Bowser is initially shy, he has been pretty quick to warm up and happily comes to the door and is excited to greet his foster any time she comes in. He has been good with their 8 y/o daughter (overall tolerates respectful older children and teens) and ignores her 5 cats even when the cranky one swatted him and when another ate from his food bowl. He is gentle, mostly quiet, and enjoys cuddle time on the couch. He appears to be house trained and walks OK on a leash. He is not destructive when left loose.
If you felt a connection with Bowser and his story and want to enjoy his golden years together and make some great memories, don't wait to apply to adopt this gentle soul today!

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
