Hello, My name is Bowie
I'm a super sweet male hound mix who was born around 5/20/23. I was found in a completely abandoned home with over 20 other dogs. Our person left us behind to make it all on our own, wandering between a filthy yard and a feces filled house. Artemis was called in to help... Artemis to the rescue!! They saved us! We were vetted and vaccinated and taken to safety until they could find our forever homes. So now I'm desperately looking for a kind family to love me the same way that I'll love them. I'm heartworm negative and current on vaccines and preventatives, so I'm ready to go home with you!
Will you help me win my way into your heart? I'll become the most loyal companion you could ever ask for. I just need someone to believe in me. Could that be you?
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
