Bowie's Story

Hello! My name is Bowie, and at just about 5 months old, I’m already on a big adventure! Along with my two siblings, I made my way from an overcrowded shelter in California, and now I’m excited to be searching for my forever family.
I’m a fast learner bursting with energy and sweetness—there’s never a dull moment when I’m around! Playtime is my absolute favorite, whether I’m tossing around my toys or having a playful wrestling match with my foster sister. I’m already mostly house trained, but since I’m still a puppy, I might have an occasional accident here and there as I keep learning. At night, I sleep soundly and would always choose being snuggled in bed with you over my kennel, though I’m working hard to become a kennel-sleeping champ, too.
My foster parents have been helping me brush up on my manners, and they say I’m the best boy with the dreamiest blue eyes—perfect for melting hearts!
If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who’s ready to fill your home with joy, I just might be your perfect match. My adoption fee is $400, plus a refundable $100 deposit once you provide proof of spay or neuter.
I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!
Warm wags,
Bowie
Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to Huskies or similar breeds, we highly recommend doing a bit of research before applying. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt me today!

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
