Meet BOWIE

A1261680 Bowie is a 4-year-old, 72-pound, neutered male, American Bulldog mix. He entered the shelter as a stray, was adopted, then returned for not getting along with the other dog in the house. He was neutered by our medical team. He also had his right ear cleaned and treated for an ear infection. He will need follow-up with your Veterinarian to verify his ear infection has cleared up. Bowie is shy but oh!, so sweet! He is a calm boy who flinches when you reach out over his head to pet him. He probably has had some not so kind moments with human hands. It takes him a couple minutes to warm up to you and then he becomes a wiggly, lovable, and happy boy ready to give you kisses. Bowie loves playing with toys and is fine with them being taken from him, as he likes to share. He has done well in our large dog play groups, and a meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog at home.
