Bourbon was taken in by a good Samarian when she was scared and skittish, but she has now blossomed into a loving companion, especially with the two special needs kids she's been living with. Bourbon is good with cats, chickens, and other dogs, and would do well in a home with another dog as a companion. She is crate trained, potty trained, and takes treats gently. Bourbon can be wary of strangers but warms up on her own terms. She’s protective of her home, so she’d do best in a calm, patient household with experienced owners who will continue showing her what being a beloved family friend is all about!
