Meet Bourbon
We are comfortable reposting our handsome boy Bourbon after his specialist visits. Bourbon has been diagnosed with Panosteitis, more commonly known as "growing pains" which was in line with our veterinarians at Woodbridge Veterinary Group.
He also has some angular front limb issues that are not severe enough for surgery. At just 10 months old he is expected to outgrow this and is definitely showing lots of improvement! He is so much better on his feet now!
He walks well on lead, is an excellent passenger in the car, is super smart, shares his food and toys like a gentleman and once warmed up to you, is the most affectionate boy!
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
Bourbon is extremely dog friendly. Another dog in the home is a bonus!
Unknown with cats.
A fenced yard is required for Bourbon.
He is initially leery of strangers and can be intimidating. He warms up quickly and turns to a pile of wiggly mush. Due to his reaction to strangers, Bourbon will be adopted to an adult only home with experience.
Most importantly, Bourbon may or may not require visits to an orthopedic specialist in the future which can cost a pretty penny. Homes that can afford unexpected medical costs and are committed to his well being should apply.
We don't sugar coat anything because placing our pets in the right home is our mission.
