Meet Bounce - Adoption Pending
Meet Bounce:
Bounce may not be the most photographic fella....covid was just as hard on him as some of us!
Bounce was surrendered by someone's roommate who left him behind with some opened bags of food and a hope that he would fend for himself…and he did. A little too much!
Bounce is incredibly easy going for what he's had to work through. Clearly, he's not your high energy guy who is ready to hike Mt. Adams with you, but he loves his daily walks and exercise. He gets along with the other dogs (big and small) in his foster home. He enjoys kids, adults, men, women.... loves them all...take him for a walk, give a little attention and he's happy.
He is an approximate 4 year old neutered male. He weighed in at 83 lbs. when Wags to Riches brought him in from a local Humane Society as he was not getting the exercise he needed there to start his journey back to health. Bounce has started losing some of that unwanted weight and is on his journey back to health!
Personality quirks you ask? Bounce is not fond of his feet being touched/handled, and we are assuming that's cause those little feet are tired of carrying all that extra weight.
Bounce will do well in a home with other dogs or just as your buddy. He is left home alone to free roam all day without issue in his current foster home when everyone is at work. He just needs some extra walks to help those extra pounds. He has already lost some weight in foster care and gained some muscle tone.
If you think Bounce would be a good fit in your home and are able to continue the commitment he's started for in his weight loss journey, then he's ready to do his part with you.
If you think Bounce may be the one for you, please go to our website at www.wagstorichesanimalrescue.org and fill out an application to adopt. Please be sure to include a vet reference as regular vet care is important to us for the health of all our adopted dogs. With approval and a $295 adoption donation, he will be ready to accompany you on all of life’s many adventures! Bounce is neutered, microchipped, fecal tested clean of internal parasites and up to date on all his vaccinations, including rabies.
