Hi, my name is Bossman. I'm a very cute guy with lots of energy, who is estimated to be 2 years old and weigh about 50 pounds. I have gotten along well with some dogs in playgroups here at the shelter, but sometimes I can overwhelm others with my exuberance and high energy. Therefore, I should meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption to make sure I'm a good fit. Mostly, I enjoy spending time with people, who will give me lots of attention. I was surendered to the shelter after getting into some trouble with the neighbors' livestock, so I will do best in a home with secure fencing to keep confined with no livestock nearby to tempt me, given my prey drive. I am a very active guy who will thrive with a family that can work with my energy level and include me in their adventures. I would benefit from more training to help me learn improved behaviors, like not pulling on the leash or jumping up on people. Plus, it is a good way for us to bond. My adoption fee has been paid by a generous donor. To schedule a time to meet me, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654 and select Option 7 to be transferred to a staff member.
