Bosley Beagle & Miniature Pinscher Mix Potomac, MD
- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs.
- Good in a home with
- Other dogs, children.
Bosley is a 6 month old, mix breed bundle of sweetness! Weighing in at roughly 20 pounds, Bosley is likely always going to be small, which is a plus when it comes to the snuggle department! Our best guess for a breed is Beagle/Min pin, but it is just that - a best guess! While Bosley is fine with other dogs, he prefers human companionship over all else, thus we feel he is best suited to be the only dog in his forever home. He enjoys basking in the sun, exploring the yard, and curling up near his people. Bosley is friendly, yet shy, so if there are children in his forever home, they must be old enough to respect this aspect of his personality. Sometimes you’ll notice Bosley has a little “head shake” which the vet determined is an "Idiopathic Head Tremor." This causes Bosley no pain, and there is no need for medication; it is simply a little bobble to his head and is quite common in mixed breed dogs (please see the link below for more information). Because of his age, Bosley is not a good match for someone gone an entire work day. In short, Bosley is a wonderful boy with a friendly, albeit shy, personality who is sure to melt your heart. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and eager to find his forever home!
The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ) , spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
