Meet BOOTSIE (see also SHELBY)
Bootsie is a very sweet girl, but scared and longs for a home where she'll feel safe again. She sits when told and her family says she's good with kids. She is about 3 years old and weighs 8 pounds. Bootsie's family brought her to the shelter on March 5, saying that a person in the family had serious health issues and they no longer had time to care for their dog. The family brought in another dog at the same time, but said Shelby was a a stray dog they had cared for. It's clear Bootsie and Shelby are bonded, and both are much happier together. Bootsie has not been spayed yet, but the vet will see her soon. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be heartworm tested and microchipped upon adoption. Come meet her in Cage 324 in the Small Dog/Puppy Room, using ID#627674; Shelby is in Cage 323 in the Small Dog/Puppy Room with ID#627673.
