Description:
Boone's ideal forever home would be acreage to run, car rides, and a constant companion. He would love to have someone who works from home or is retired. He appreciates an opportunity for couch cuddles while you read the newspaper or watch your favorite TV shows. When he is outside, he enjoys play time and running off his high setter energy.

Boone has discovered love and human affection, which has motivated him to want to please. He is very eager to learn and take direction. Boone will accept marching orders from a leader. Structure, boundaries and continued training sessions will prevent this smart boy from becoming a mischief maker. He knows sit, stay, lie down, and heel. He walks well on a leash but randomly can pull. He is a strong boy! He has been exposed to birds and has flushed them out nicely.

Boone is a climber. No chain link style fence on earth will contain him. He has demonstrated that he is a great candidate for an E-collar and has responded well to training.

If another dog in the home, he will do best with neutered males and spayed females.

He is a strong, sweet, and a loving boy! If you are reading the paper, he will nudge his way in front of the paper to see what you are reading and expect to be petted.
