Boomer Yellow Labrador Retriever & Golden Retriever Mix Rochester, NY

Required: live in Rochester NY area. Need to have fenced in yard to safely run or play in if home has another dog.

READ THIS: Must have a home where owner is home majority of the time for Boomer to be happy. Preferably a woman as his previous owner was a female & he was very attached & suffers from ongoing separation anxiety.

Meet Boomer!

If you have a hole in your heart missing a loved one so does Boomer.
This handsome boy got his name because he made his way up to us from Oklahoma. He is a yellow lab, perhaps golden retriever mix (& may have some chow mixed in as he has an adorable speckled tongue!), around 7 years old, about 70 pounds, and is fully vaccinated, neutered and chipped. He is very affectionate and loves to be around his owner. He is food motivated and not afraid to steal a snack that is left unattended! He is good with other dogs and all kids, but can be indifferent to others because he would rather his love and attention be on his owner. For this reason, he would be happiest in a home with only one or two people & a companion dog or two.

He loves walks and knows most commands. He is house trained and crate trained. He is very loving and attentive!

Boomer is very welcoming to visitors when his family has friends over. He loves the attention they give him, but then will suddenly remember that he needs to find his person. He is mostly indifferent to the other people that live in the house. He really enjoys my mom and mother in law, so it makes me think that he just needs to have an older woman's full attention.
