Boomer is an 13-week old heeler/Australian cattle dog mix. He is spunky and a bundle of energy. He loves to play with toys and follow his human around. He currently lives with other dogs and does well. He is a confident little guy who would love a home that wanted to teach him with positive reinforcement, work with him, and give him lots of affection. He will definitely need an active individual. It is important to remember that his breed was originally bred to herd and have a job so its really important he has a guardian that can provide him not only with physical exercise but mental as well. These dogs love to learn and need an energy outlet.
He will do best in a home without small children due to his herding instincts. A home with Heeler or herding dog experience would be very beneficial for this little guy.
Boomer is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $200.
