Boomer's Story

The Comeback Kid with a Tail That Never Quits

Boomer’s name might sound like an old soul, but this young guy is pure bounce and sunshine. At just under a year old, this 53-pound sweetheart has already proven he’s got the heart (and hips) of a fighter. After being hit by a car, Boomer had hip surgery back in September — and you’d never know it now. He’s healed up beautifully and struts around like a champ who knows he got a second chance.

Boomer is playful, obedient, and has that “happy to be here” energy that’s downright contagious. He loves a good game of chase or tug-of-war, but he’s also content to hang out quietly once the fun’s over. He’s crate trained, fully potty trained, and walks well on leash (just a few polite reminders now and then).

He can be a little cautious at first, but once you’re in his circle, you’re family. He does great with other dogs — enjoys their company but doesn’t depend on them — and would thrive with or without a furry roommate. Boomer is also the kind of dog who’d be perfectly happy with a first-time adopter; he’s easygoing, well-
mannered, and eager to please.

He’s healing, happy, and ready for his forever family — maybe one with another pup sibling to keep him company and share in the adventures. Boomer’s come a long way, and now he’s just looking for someone to keep walking beside him.

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://petsave.formstack.com/forms/petsave_adoption_application

+++++++

Boomer is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue!
