This handsome senior gentleman is Boo, a Maltese, born approximately August 2010. He is looking for his furever retirement home and is currently getting comfortable at his foster home. We will post periodic personality updates and give you more info about this guy when we have it!

The suggested adoption donation for Boois $265. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profitorganization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100%volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost ofveterinary care for our animals. In 2021 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over
$307,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.

If this pet is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption due to limited vetting availability, a voucherwill be given to the adopter for a free spay/neuter procedure at Val Verde Animal Hospital.Spay/neuters completed elsewhere will be reimbursed $80/dog or $55/cat once proof of alteration hasbeen received by Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue. Alterations are required for all Muddy Paws adoptions. The adoption contract states that alters must be done within ONE month of theadoption date or the adopter will be in breach of the contract. Adopters are required to provide proof of
alteration to Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue immediately following the procedure. Thank you in advance for your compliance.

Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTIONAPPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you intouch with the animals foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take placein the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not shipor deliver.

Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinaryand personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during theapplication approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animals needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you selectanother animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
