Meet Bonnie
Meet Bonnie
Wait until you meet Bonnie! This 2-year old, petite lab mix could be the sweetest dog SPR has ever had. She melts the hearts of every single person she meets because she wants nothing more out of life than to cuddle with her people and hang out with them every second of the day.
Bonnie came to us very skinny and after some testing, the vets found out she has a rare salivary gland disorder that is easily treated with inexpensive medication and a slight modification to her diet. Since that diagnosis and change in her diet, this girl has thrived, put on weight, and makes every volunteer smile when they come through the door.
Bonnie would do best in a home with a family that is home most of the time, as she truly wants to be with her people all the time. She loves every person she meets, but doesn’t like to compete for affection with other dogs, so she’ll need to be an only dog.
We would recommend older children who can give her the belly rubs and tons of attention she needs without all the craziness that comes with toddlers.
If you work at home, or can take your dog to the office, Bonnie would be perfect for you. She doesn’t require tons of activity, just some walks and play time. She truly just wants to lay ON TOP of her humans. She would enjoy sleeping right next to you and keeping you warm at night too!
If you can give Bonnie an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/
We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.
Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.
