Good in a home with
Other dogs, cats.
Bonnie is a gorgeous young 40 pound dog who will be your loyal lifelong companion. If you’re a single female, that is! With another dog! Bonnie is a cattle dog mix, and she is a one-person dog. She will snuggle with her person, but is shy around other people. She wants one person to love and trust, but she also loves other dogs. She happily takes cues from the other dog in her foster family and she will need a dog sibling in her new home, to help her learn how to be a more confident dog. Bonnie is a nervous gal, but with the right home she will gradually feel more secure and less worried. At just 16 months she is young and still learning about life. She is sweet and quiet, and easy to have around. She is so cute when she plays with her toys, and when she cuddles with her foster dog sibling. She loves her walks, and she is easy to walk since she’s perfect on a leash, and she’s great in the car. She knows a few commands and is very food-motivated so will be trainable. Although this might change, she is currently a flight risk, meaning she has to be carefully monitored to make sure she doesn’t have the opportunity to bolt. She would do best in a home with a yard as her young age means she needs space to run around (plus she is so happy when she can run around in her yard).
Bonnie is housetrained, healthy, up to date on all shots, and microchipped. She is being fostered in Brockton Her adoption fee is $250.
