Meet Bonita

Bonita (or Bonnie) is a sweet Great Pyrenees that has stolen the hearts of many of our volunteers. She was rescued from the Korean meat market and made her way to the states. Her family was no longer able to care for her and she is looking for her forever home! She was in a home with kids. She doesn't seem to mind other dogs but we don't know about cats. She does need some work on leash training. She requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Bonita is 14 months old. Her current weight is around 95 pounds.

The minimum donation for Bonita is $475.00. This includes all of her vetting. If you are interested in Bonita, please fill out an online application through our website.

Then meet her at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm by appointment only. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
