Meet Bones!
Bones is a boxer mix (58 lbs) originally from Texas. He’s a senior dog at 8 years old. He is the sweetest guy, who wants nothing more than to be near his human friends. Right from the first time he entered our home, all we got from him was gentle affection, and for our own dog too, a beagle mix. He loves taking walks and did fine in the backseat of my car. His appetite is good, though he doesn’t seem to have any food hang ups. To be sure, we feed the two dogs in separate places, but he’s a gentleman about food as he is about everything else. He has been perfectly house trained (no accidents) and he doesn’t chew on things.
One quirk is that Bones does not do well in crates. He gets very anxious and actually hurt himself trying to contort his way out of a crate one time. He has no bad habits that would require him to be crated, so I strongly suggest a permanent home where that need of his could be honored. No cats for this guy.
