Attempts were made to find either the owner or the vet performing the surgery. The finder contacted our rescue when the pup continued to throw up. Our doctor determined he has mega-esophagus. He will always have to eat or drink in a Bailey Chair and spend 30 minutes in an upright position after every meal or drink of water.

Bones is an awesome dog. Very friendly and loves people. If you are interested in adopting this boy you will need to fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org. This boy will always have to eat a gruel made from canned ground ProPlan with water three times a day. He is very loving, but also tries to eat anything left on the ground. Bones cannot be adopted into a family with children or other dogs. If he ate a toy or dropped piece of food it could cause him to aspirate. Bones weighs 26 pounds, is 3 years old and his adoption fee is $500.
