Bones Greyhound & Whippet Mix Bethel, CT

Just in time for the Halloween season, Bones has arrived to Connecticut! Previously a dog living in North Carolina, this adorable two-year-old, 45 lb. greyhound/whippet is ready to find his furever family!

This young pup is a ball of fun and still has a lot of puppy energy! He's social with everyone he meets and is always up for an adventure! Bones loves to play, go on walks around the neighborhood, or romp around the yard. He does great traveling in the car and is ready to be the best co-pilot you've ever had!

He's currently in a foster home with three dogs and does great with them! Bones would be fine with older children, as long as they're dog savvy. He was tested with cats while in the shelter but he had too much interest in trying to play with them that we would recommend a kitty-free home. He'd prefer to find a home with another playful dog of the same medium-large size. You must have a fenced yard to be considered for his adoption.

Bones is such a good boy! He goes easily into his crate, where he quietly sleeps for the night, and is completely housetrained. He does need some leash training as he pulls a bit and is rather strong. He tends to jump up a bit when excited but redirects quickly. Bones has shown no food aggression towards other animals or people either. He's a very workable dog and is going to make a wonderful addition to any family!
