Bonded: Romeo (and Juliet) Terrier Mix Lacon, IL

Sometimes it is incomprehensible when good dogs end up in the shelter. These two were found roaming in their neighborhood and picked up by animal control. The owners never came for them:(

This is a bonded, adult pair: Romeo and Juliet. They will be adopted together.

Romeo is a black, shaggy terrier and weighs a little over 30 pounds. He is very attentive, treat motivated, and knows some commands.

Juliet is a tan and black, shaggy terrier. She does know some commands, but kind of goes about things on her own terms. She is somewhat aloof, but a gentle companion nevertheless. She weighs 46 pounds. Juliet has been reactive with another dog at the shelter, so she may be dog selective.
