Meet Bojangles
Mr. Bojangles! ?
Bobo was picked up as a stray. You guessed right, in a Bojangles parking lot!
This guy has clearly been through it but you would never know from his personality! Open, loving and gentle! He suffers from hair loss across his entire back and tail, very dry skin, scabbed ears and fly bites. He has terribly worn-down teeth that make us think he lived his life on a chain, he chewed frequently breaking his teeth. He has an eye infection. And of course, he is heartworm positive. An all to familiar representation of so many of the neglected dogs within the county.
This guy is a happy kiddo! He just prances around making friends and happy as can be to be out with the volunteers. He quickly stole our hearts, no one wanting to put him back into his kennel.
He met Joker (shelter tester dog) and his greets were full of slobbery kisses! He was super polite, friendly and happy, would go back and forth and when he would come back, it was kisses all over again.
Had to keep repeating to myself - "I already have 5 dogs, 4 cats and 2 lizards!" to keep from taking him home!!
