Hey! I'm Bogie also called Buddy. I am a happy and playful 2.5-year-old, 59-pound, Pit-bull with a taupe and white coat. I love to play fetch. I'm an energetic boy who is always ready for some fun and affection. If you're looking for a joyful and loving companion, I’m your guy.

I get along wonderfully with kids and enjoy their company! While I haven’t been tested with cats yet, I’m happy to meet one if needed. I generally do well with other dogs, but I did have an incident with the other pup in my home. When someone was outside talking to my family, both of us got excited and started barking. In the commotion, we ended up in a fight. Because of this, I’d do best as the only dog in the home or with careful management to ensure I don’t get overstimulated around other dogs.

I’m deeply loyal and protective of my home and family. One day, someone entered our home very suddenly, and I instinctively reacted by biting. As soon as I realized there was no real threat, I backed off. The person was expected to be there but came in too abruptly, triggering my protective instincts. I’ve since been evaluated by a trainer, who assures me that I’m highly trainable and a good dog—I just need the right guidance and structure to thrive.

I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm currently in Fort Mill, SC but I can be transported to other states for the right home. Please note, there is a transport fee.
