Bobo Chihuahua Mix Houston, TX

Hi there! My name is Bobo. I’m super teeny tiny, weighing in a whopping 5 ½ lbs. I’m about 5-6 years old and all I’m looking for is a home that is going to love me, make sure I’m safe (because I’m so tiny) and keep me forever. My story is unfortunately, like most other abandoned pets. I wasn’t important enough to keep no matter what. My previous family didn’t let their landlord know that I was there and kept me a secret for over 2 years. When the landlord found out and my family, who was supposed to be there for me forever, decided I wasn’t enough for them to pay the pet deposit required to allow me to stay with them. I was then handed off to a relative, but their spouse said having me was a “deal breaker.” and I "had to go." I just want to be safe and loved. I’m not much trouble at all. I didn’t understand why nobody could give me that. I’m a really, really good boy.

Luckily, my former human sibling knew someone who knew a Wags Fund foster/volunteer who contacted them immediately. Now I’m living with that foster family and I’m getting so much love! I my foster siblings all have fur. Dogs and cats big and small and I get along with them all… okay, maybe not one cat. She’s scary and I swear, seems to glare at me all the time with big yellow eyes! She’s huge! Like Godzilla! But if I don’t look at her directly, I’m sure she won’t see me.

I’m fully housebroken and crate trained. I ride in a car perfectly. I love to lay next to my human or snuggled up in my bed, burrowed in my blankie. I’m a bit skittish with loud noises because they are scary, but as long as my human is nearby, I know I’m safe. Since I’m so tiny, I must be monitored when outside, as a big scary bird or other animal could snatch me away easily. I don’t do very well with children. They really terrify me, so a calm, quite loving home without kids would be ideal for me.
