I’m Bobbie! Not Bobbie Brown, more of a Bobbie Black & Tan. I was found as a stray in an Elementary School in Houston, TX. Living in the streets of Houston was no easy task, but my life has changed since being taken to BARC. I’m not going to lie, I was so scared.

You see, I never learned how to trust humans and all of a sudden they were all over me. I was so overwhelmed, afraid and out of my element (the cruel streets of Houston) so I started shutting down. I now live in a beautiful home, I am extremely spoiled and I finally have a comfy dog bed of my own! I must tell you, my Foster Mom is very patient with me… I’m still very shy and afraid of other humans but my Foster Mom tells me that I am an amazing and awesome dog. I love following my Foster Mom around the house most of the time from a distance. Sometimes I will let her give me a pet but I am still learning how to build trust with humans.

Did I tell you that I have 5 foster fur siblings whom I love so much! We play together all day long and they are extremely kind to me! I also have 2 foster human siblings (Nick -17 yrs old and Grace- 13 yrs old) and a Foster Dad. Like an entire family! Foster Mom tells me that I will make a great dog(s) companion and that whoever adopts me must understand that a shy dog will always be a shy dog! Having a good confident buddy dog will really make me feel most comfortable.

I enjoy hanging around the house with my fur siblings, taking naps or playing outside under my Foster Mom’s supervision. Foster Mom makes sure that I am always safe and sound! Unfortunately, I don’t like going on walks, being around strangers or taken to the dog park. Foster Mom tells me that I have beautiful house manners. I am potty trained, I don’t jump on furniture and I can be left alone around the house with my foster fur siblings without any incident! See, I am the perfect dog but just shy!

If you are nice, patient and understanding like Foster Mom, please apply for me.

Link to Application:
http://www.gsdrescuectx.com/adoption-application.html
