Meet BOB needs a home currently - foster home

Bob is looking for his fur-ever home! This handsome 19- 22 months boy is a sweetheart. Approximately 90lb, probably Great Dane/Doberman mix and he’s been neutered recently. Crate and potty trained. Very friendly,
Ok with medium/large dogs and even small children! Apparently not a cat lover. Bob doesn’t like to be alone and follows his favorite folks everywhere. Can sleep in his crate or around/on the bed with his human. He can stay in his crate for few hours if needed.

This tall handsome boy is filled with sweetness and energy. A Great Dane/Doberman mix just under two years old, he is still very much a puppy. He seems to have no idea he is 90 pounds and considers himself a lap dog, always looking for pets and cuddles.
Bob had some initial issues with overexuberance and successful escape attempts but with training and daily exercise, those haven't been an issue (though a backyard fence closer to 6 feet than 5 may also help). He used to pull so hard on his leash, even with a prong collar, that it was difficult for almost anyone to walk him but he needs his walks or runs. Luckily, he has taken well to a gentle leader and sits nicely to have it put on. He knows it means an outdoor adventure! He sometimes paws at the gentle leader at the start of a walk, but he gets over it and enjoys his exercise outdoors. It can't be stressed enough that the gentle leader is currently the only safe way to walk/run him.
He is fully potty trained and has learned basic commands like sit, wait, uh-uh, and his favorite, OK, but still needs consistent practice to reliably do them all on the first try. At mealtime though, he is a rock star—he immediately sits and waits without being told and won't go for his food until he hears the OK!
Bob loves being around humans and can get a bit anxious when they leave him alone. He can't be left outside when his humans leave because he will try, and will most likely succeed, at following. The good news is that he does just fine in his crate. When he is in there, he knows just to relax until humans return so that is the best thing you can do for him when you can't be home.
A very friendly guy, he enjoys meeting new people and dogs. Cats are not his thing but small children are OK. Trips to the dog park where he can get in some puppy play and take in a plethora of new smells are appreciated. He loves toys but is an aggressive chewer so tough balls and bones are his favorite. Bob is ready to be someone's best buddy for life!
