Meet Bo - Pending Adoption

Bo is in need of a new foster home due to unforeseen complications with the current fosters work schedule - please consider helping Bo by fostering

Meet Mr. Bo - He is some sort of mix of Corgi and I would guess perhaps Lab - but this would just be a guess as he came to us from the shelter as a stray. We would estimate his age to be between 4-6 years, although he is getting a bit gray in the snout, but we just tell him it makes him look distinguished!

How he ever wound up not getting adopted from the shelter amazes us as he is such a sweet, smart, loving, playful guy. Bo has more personality packed into his compact frame then you can imagine. He is UTD on his shots, housebroken, walks nicely on lead, loves kids, can crate, sit, stay, speak, whisper, come, and back.

He loves his foster siblings, the dog park, rides in the car, squeaky toys, chewies, laying at your feet and giving kisses and hugs. This is one great dog, who just wants to hang with you, who will make an amazing lifetime companion for a loving heart and can’t wait to find his forever family!

This is Bones - We think he may be a Basset Hound/Lab/Australian Shepard mix.

How he ever made it to a shelter at his age must be a sad story.  He is very well trained and estimated to be between 4 and 6 years old. He was found as a stray; it is so hard to believe that no one claimed him as he has more personality and love packed into his compact body than you could imagine.

Bones, while interestingly constructed, is intelligent, fun loving, playful, sweet, even-tempered, housebroken and obedient. He loves to ride in the car, is learning the rules of walking on lead and being comfortable with other dogs in very close proximity to his food and toys; he is coming along nicely.

He is a big cuddle bug that loves belly rubs, back scratches and squeaky toys but is also content to take a nap in a corner by himself or just be still with you. On his second night at his new foster home he had no problem spending the night in his crate without his new foster mom right by him and greeted her in the morning with happy kisses and a dash to the door.

He will make an excellent companion for any loving heart.
