Bo Pit Bull Terrier Mix Sherwood, AR

Bo is a man of personality! He was found on a dirt road in Alabama. Because of his breed, and the fact that he was heartworm positive, his rescuer was told he would be euthanized if surrendered. So she made sure he had a chance at life and sent him 8 hours to us in Central Arkansas! Since coming to Arkansas, Bo has shown nothing but resilience. He has completed heartworm treatment, and been doing wonderfully in his foster home. Bo LOVES children, other dogs, and TOYS. There isn't a toy Bo won't play with, but his favorite is his stuffed squirrel that makes real squirrel noises! Unfortunately, Bo tends to thoroughly enjoy chasing cats, so he'd be best somewhere without them. He hasn't hurt one, but we'd rather keep it that way. Bo is not poultry or small livestock friendly. Because of their size, he sees them as snacks. He is the absolute best cuddler, and loves kisses! He's very food motivated, and has a high metabolism, so a high protein food is important for him. Bo does have a bit of anxiety when it comes to cages, so he requires a HEAVY DUTY kennel. He can (and will) demolish regular wire kennels.
