Hi my name is Bo! I’m a 3-year-old pitbull mix. I moved to New England back in September and that’s when I learned that true love and affection exist. While I’ve been at my foster moms, I got super sick and we found out I have diabetes. I require insulin twice a day, but my foster mom will tell you…. this is a piece of cake. As a dog, I know I need my insulin, so I don’t mind getting a “pinchy pinchy” as my mom calls it. I have learned to ask to go to the bathroom outside. I can tap on the glass door or fake yawn, but you’ll have to pay attention. Once I have water … it’s time to go! I do best with positive reinforcement and like to get a “thumbs up” once I’ve done my business. I am also food motivated (chicken is my favorite) and I have a deep love of stuffed animals. I love to cuddle and am a loyal companion. I am looking for the right home and need to be an only dog! Unfortunately, I am a product of my past and was not treated kindly and dropped from a bridge left to die. I have some pretty cool scars that add to my handsomeness. My foster mom says they make me unique! I don’t have a mean bone in my body, but triggers can make me scared. I see other animals as a threat. I do well with redirection and guidance. I am looking for the perfect home that will fit all my needs. I have made so much progress and continue to look for someone who will nurture and continue to help me grow.
