Bo German Shepherd Dog Harrison, NY

Hey, German Shepherd lovers - meet Bo! This gorgeous boy is about 2.5 years old and weighs 73 lbs. He came to Pet Rescue after his owner died and is adjusting to life after losing the only home he's ever known. He is a very sweet, affectionate and sensitive boy who is friendly and playful with the two dogs in his foster home—in fact, his new home must have another friendly dog to help him feel comfortable and lead the way. Bo is also fine with cats. He is very smart and knows basic commands, is housebroken, very respectful in the home, wants to please and thinks he's a lap dog. He gets nervous around loud noises and would not do well in a city environment. He recently discovered the joy of going to the dog park... he enjoys meeting other dogs and romping around with them, and loves fetching balls. But his most favorite thing in the whole world is to be with his humans. He sleeps contently on a dog bed next to his foster mom at night and would love to find a calm home that will love him and give him time to adjust to all the new sights and surroundings.
