Hello, I'm Bluey, a spirited 53-pound Bluetick Coonhound with a zest for life and a song in my heart! My days are filled with energy, and I love running, playing, and serenading those around me with my unique vocal talents. If you're seeking an athletic and lively companion, look no further--I'm your girl!

I'm quite the clever hound, especially when treats are involved. With patience and consistent training, I can master all sorts of commands and tricks. While I might be a tad stubborn at times, I thrive under firm and consistent guidance. Car rides are a joy for me, and I'm eager to accompany you on any adventure. I'm proud to say I'm fully house-trained and proficient with a doggy door, making it easy for me to adapt to your home's routine. I get along well with male dogs but prefer to be the only female in the household. Cats, however, aren't my cup of tea, so a cat-free home would be best.

My journey hasn't been the easiest. I arrived at the shelter in a frail state, having faced starvation multiple times. This past has made me a bit protective of my food, but with a loving and understanding owner who acknowledges my history, I'm confident I can overcome this and truly flourish. Adoption Fees:
-$60 for cats
-$60 for dogs over 6 years
-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years
-$100 for puppies up to 6 months
