Hello, my name is Blue! I am a gentle and sweet Lab/Pit Bull mix.
I am 6+ y/o so I am calm but still have energy for a walk or short hike. I mainly just want a companion to chill out with. I like to lay my head on you while we watch tv. My foster mom says I’m an excellent house guest. My previous mom taught me: sit, shake, stay, come and down. I was very loved but found myself in the shelter bc of an eviction. That almost led to my death. I was saved at the last minute. Whew! That hasn’t dampened my good natured spirit. I do well with other dogs, cats and children (I’ve lived with all of those!) and am crate trained. Want to meet me? All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
