Blue is an outgoing, kind, and happy boy! He’s 1.5 years old, 56 lbs., neutered, and so very friendly with people and dogs of all sizes! His favorite snuggle move is the “lean.” He just leans on your legs and looks up at you with the biggest smile on his face, while you scratch his back and head. He’d happily (and excitedly) curl up in your lap too, if you’d let him. He is so into humans and always wants to be with you. He is an equal opportunity dog and loves both men and women. We have not tested him on cats or young children.
Aside from being super sweet, Blue is working on his manners. It doesn’t appear that his previous owners taught him many basic commands – but he is super smart and is quickly picking up our pack’s routine. Compared to my 3-year-old ACD, Blue is on the calm side in terms of exercise levels. He loves his daily power walks and would make a great running partner with his awesome leash manners (he doesn’t pull and just trots right by you or just in front of you with a looped leash). He has shown minimal interest in toys, frisbees, or balls. We’re continuing to show him how fun life can be! His wonderment and appreciation for companionship and attention just melts your heart! We can’t believe someone could abandon such a good soul. He will be an amazing addition to any family that is ready to share their love.
Blue has no interest in trying to escape our fenced backyard (no digging, no jumping). He prefers to stay by us when in the backyard. This boy just wants to be with is person.
