Meet Blue, a smaller 3 year old hound boy who’s been through the worst and still greets the world with quiet courage. Once neglected, starved, and abandoned, Blue is finally safe — and he’s working hard on his comeback story.

This gentle soul is getting the full rescue spa treatment: double eye surgery to heal painful infections, heartworm treatment, and a dental cleaning to polish that soon-to-be-famous smile. He’s expected to be ready for adoption mid-November, when his transformation will be complete and his glow-up will be impossible to ignore.

Blue is dog- and cat-friendly, medium energy, and has the kind of sweetness that melts you right where you stand. What he needs now is someone who can see past his rough beginnings and picture the bright, healthy, happy boy he’s becoming.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide. We are located in SC but in three years, we have placed 450 dogs in 20 states. We post our dogs in the areas we regularly transport to. Our adoption fee is $200 with no additional transport charges. Unfortunately we are unable to do meet and greets but our adoption coordinators strive to make excellent matches.
