While he still experiences head tremors, a lasting effect of distemper, they don’t slow him down or impact his quality of life in the slightest.

Blue is a handsome, well-mannered boy with a gentle soul. He’s incredibly friendly and thrives on human companionship. Whether it’s kids of any age, other dogs, or adults, Blue greets everyone with a wagging tail and a warm heart. He’s playful and would love an active home where he can enjoy walks, hikes, or a good game of chase—especially if squirrels are involved!

At home, Blue is the ultimate companion. He loves following his foster mom from room to room and just being near his people. For this reason, Blue would do best in a household where someone is home most of the time—he truly blossoms with companionship. He’s both crate and house trained, an excellent car passenger, and calmly tolerates baths and nail trims. He knows how to sit, is working on other commands like “lay down” and “stay,” and is very food-motivated and eager to learn.

Blue is 2½ years old, weighs 61 pounds, and is bursting with love and loyalty. He may have been overlooked before, but he’s more than ready for someone to see the incredible dog he truly is. Any family would be lucky to have him.
